Copy number 179 of 300, initialed (GPH )and numbered by publisher. William Cooper, founder of Cooperstown NY, was the father of author James Fenimore Cooper, while the introduction in this book is by the Grandson of the famous James (via his son Paul Fenimore Cooper). Yellow soft cover with edgewear, a tear to the inner lower edge, and age toning to cover. Light wear to pages overall. Binding intact with some beginning looseness. Interior otherwise clean and intact. Please see image. 41 pages.
