London,, 1876. First Edition. Hardback. Dust Jacket.. In publishers green cloth with a gilt illustration on front board. Lettering is black on the front and gilt on the spine, there is a further gilt design on the spine. The corners are lightly bumped, there is a small. scrape to the front top corner. The head and foot of the spine are bumped with some rubbing. There is a faded ink mark to the bottom of the front board. The final page has been miscut and a fragment of the previous page stands proud. Internal hinges are beginning to crack. Very good minus, still attractive copy.. 8vo.Pp xvi, 394. Coloured frontispiece, black and white illustrations throughout.
