No dustwrapper as issued. 12mo. - Full leather binding is heavily scuffed and chipped w/ remains of a paper label to spine, some spotting to front cover and ring scored into rear cover - Corners are badly bumped w/ leather missing from top corners leaving large area of boards exposed - Board also exposed at top of front joint - Hinges breached but not open - Title page has small tear to tail w/ date missing and small area of pen notations - There are no pastedown endpapers and rear free endpaper missing - Front free endpaper, title page verso and blank pages to rear are covered w/ pen notations - Text block has slight ripple and edges are toned - Tail of pages throughout and top corner of approx half pages have faint discolouration from water damage (now dry) - Creasing to corners of text block - Book ow/ solid and internally clean - A scrappy but nice copy - poor/good condition - unpaginated index + 490 pages
