New York: Ernest J. Clode, Inc. 1st Edition , 1927 ----------hardcover, no dust jacket. Apparently the dust jacket (NOTpresent here) spells Clew as Clue). The book, in dark blue cloth with black design (a magnifying glass) to the front board, and gold lettering to the front board and spine, has a the front board starting to detach, wear to spine extremities and corners, page block edges browning somewhat, former owner (Bruce G. Houran) stamp on title page, a good-VG copy. The author wrote several novels, and was a prolific contributor to the pulp magazines 1920s-1940s. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Good to Very Good/No Jacket. Note: our prices on Biblio are the LOWEST of any of the sites on which we list our books.
