About This Item
Scottish folklorist - and a founder of the SNP- Florence Marian McNeill looks at the rites and ceremonies underpinning Hallowe'en in Scotland. History, food, customs and others are all covered. A fascinating and rare book, especially in this condition.
Book is in very good condition. Pages are intact, bright, clean, unmarked and just some slight foxing on the top edge. Cloth covers are clean and tight. The dust jacket is unclipped, and in very good condition with just some general wear including very minor loss/shelf wear at top. There is a handwritten neat inscription from 1972 on FEP which is hidden underneath DJ flap. Book is now covered in professional removable clear wrapper. 63 pp with illustrations
