London: Richard Bentley, et al., 1843. First edition. Hardcover. Good. 12mo. (8), 211pp. Brown textured cloth, gilt spine title. Frontispiece of a spinning room, and a few additional illustrations in the text. Upper hinge cracked but firm.
Bookplate of Thomas W. Fox, and label of donation to the Textile Institute dated 1918, Stamp of the Textile Institute on the reverse of the frontispiece, and a withdrawn stamp on the donation label.
