Hand-colored etching of the skin of a young man with a rare dermatological disorder ichthyosis hystrix, the father of this young man was known as "Porcupine Man." This print is from "Gleanings of Natural History" by George Edwards 1760, app. There is a tad of foxing on the print, small tear right edge, some darkening on the edges. Printed area measures 9.5x7.5, whole print measures 11.5x9.5. All orders packed with care, independent bookseller since 2011
