With original dustwrappers with colour plate to front of each. In very good condition. Covers all good matching dark blue. Dustwrappers very good. (Very minor Rubbing to edges. Volume III Small loss at ends of spine, with split down front hinge, and a few small faint marks, Volume IV slightly lighter, Volume V slightly darker) Not price clipped. Three with small inscription on front endpaper. Some foxing, especially on fore edges, Else a clean and tight set. 5 volumes. With b/w and colour plates and distribution maps. A comprehensive guide to british birds. Giving a full description of birds, song, nesting habits, food, courtship, breeding, habitats and distribution. Beautifully illustrated.
