Boston, MA: James R. Osgood & Co., 1883. Hardcover. G+ (Good Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Fifteenth (15th) edition. Dark mustard cloth covered boards with lettering and decoration stamped in black, gilt and blind. Light edgewear and soil, and bumped spine ends and corners. Red-tinted text block is lightly rubbed. Binding cracked at second blank and rear hinge is starting, otherwise sound. Text with very minor, scattered pencilling. Interior toned, with offsetting to two pages where a paper scrap was laid in. B/w illustrations. No previous owner names, stickers or stamps. Not ex-library.
