Second (Revised) Edition, published October, 1924; first published December, 1923. Four editions would be published by 1931. Fine copy in a handsome gift binding by the Co-operative Printing Society, Mount Street, Manchester. With an index, and pages 433-438, a bibliography of books and pamphlets on co-operation useful to committee members. "The Co-operative Printing Society was formed in Manchester as the North of England Co-operative Printing Society in 1869 by a group of printers...the business commenced operation as letterpress printers and stationers, also undertaking bookbinding, ruling, lithography and other printing work."-Archives Hub. The Co-operative Union itself was a propagandist federation of all the chief co-operative societies in Great Britain, and some in Ireland. Tipped-in hand-colored calligraphic presentation-leaf: "Presented by the Central Education Committee of the Co-operative Union Limited to H. Marlow, Esq. on the occasion of the week end meeting held at Croydon. Easter 1929." Fine.
