Edge and corner wear, lightly scuffed and scratched, corners are bumped and rubbed, shelf worn, front and rear hinges are cracked, small split in the head of the spine with some fraying there as well, four small holes in the upper half of the cloth spine, pages have been numbered in pencil by a child in the upper corner, spot the size of a half-dollar on the rear board where perhaps a sticker of some sort has been pulled away, overall a very rare and collectible first edition! Extremely scarce title! Toy covered pictorial boards quarterbound by red cloth with black letteing. Illustrated endpapers. 100 collectible and out-of-print pages nicely enhanced by black and white illustrations! "Now go ahead and let us see How happy handy hands can be And very careful too.
