About This Item
London: H. Haigh Hartley. 1899. Paperback. 8vo (5" x 7") , 16pp. G+. Brown wrappers; somewhat worn; frail. The binding of this little booklet has been repaired with staples and sellotape. In protective sleeve. A very interesting, early and scarce publication from not long after Hampstead Heath (in London) was rescued from greedy developers and preserved in perpetuity as a public amenity, which is threatened by the current commercialisation of a unique resource. .
