Illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs, reproductions of sketches and programs, etc. Index. Bound in bright orange cloth with vignette and lettering stamped in dark orange on front cover; dark orange lettering on spine. Dust jacket price-clipped and with two slight dampstains on spine. Withal, a bright copy. A particularly scarce study by the critic who, at the time, was Lecturer in Danish at Cambridge. Dust jacket is now protected in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
