A collection of 26 of Andersen's most beloved fairy tales is brought to new life with the lovely watercolor illustrations of award-winning Czech artist Dagmar Berkova. 264 pp. Orig. published in 1979, this is a 1981 printing of that First Edition. Hardcover small 4to (7.5" x 10") has cream-colored cloth over boards with a stamped gilt illustration of the Tin Soldier to front & gilt lettering to spine. Condition is VG+: very clean & bright, binding strong with a very slight rightward lean. Pages white & unmarked, colors bright. Slight corner bumping, dust dulling to fore edge page edges. The unclipped DJ is Near Fine: colorful & bright with just a hint of edgewear. Nicely protected in new clear mylar cover Free!
