There is an Author's Preface to Present Edition and a preface to The American Edition. Front free endpaper appears to be missing. Interior split on spine but pages all present. Edgewear particularly on spine. Wine cloth with gold illustration and lettering. Cloth is torn at upper and lower spine. Corners a bit bumped.
