A near-fine copy, a pale shadow on title, the moveables all complete and in fully working condition, some light wear to edges of boards, but generally a very well-preserved copy of one of Wehr's fragile moveable children's books, and rare in the jacket (that has some light edgewear). Penciled gift note from 1944 on front free endpaper. Oblong (7.5 x 10 inches). [24] pages. Four full-page color moveable illustrations by Julian Wehr. Original red comb binding, printed pictorial boards; pictorial dust jacket.
