The much loved tale of Hansel and Grethel has its origins as a German fairy tale, collected by the infamous Brothers Grimm. This much loved tale revolves around a brother and sister who find themselves alone in a deep and treacherous wood. It is here that the duo encounter a house made of gingerbread and other sweets. The owner of the house is a witch who quickly traps the children and begins to fatten them up to be eaten. Gretel outsmarts the witch and the siblings escape. This volume also features much-loved tales, such as Red Riding Hood, the Twelve Dancing Princesses, Rapunzel and many more.
