Oval, coloured image of sundial to front cover within double gilt borders. no dustwrapper. 8.5ins x 6ins, endpapers as plans of garden, viii, 224pp plus frontis and 21pp photographic plates. Ansell was the wife of Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie. Previous owners name and date to top of half title. Scattered light foxing. Front hinge cracked. One inch closed tear to cloth at base of front cover. Actually a better copy than this list of faults suggests! G+
