About This Item
New York: Penguin Group. Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1993. First Edition. Hardcover. 0670852066 . 62 p. 23.5 cm. Sound and square binding in paper-covered boards, with blue, cloth-backed spine. Very slight amount of rubbing to bottom edges. Else fine. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has faint price sticker shadow on the front panel. Minor edge wear. A charming children's story about the Hocky Family and their daily lives. Written and illustrated by Kate Greenaway Medallist and Caldecott Honor Award winner Lane Smith. The humour this book includes would keep many an adulting grinning, also. I have a memory of CBC radio broadcaster Peter Gzowski saying how much he enjoyed it. .
