About This Item
First hardcover edition, with dust jacket, published by Grove Press, 1968. A first printing copy. Known for his theory of Transactional Analysis, and the book 'Games People Play', this is Berne's children's book in his iconic style. Illustrated by Slyvie Selig. 7-1/4" X 10-1/4", unpaginated - approx. 68 pages. The dust jacket is price clipped at the top corner of the front flap. Front flap has a vertical crease at the top corner. One closed tear at the top right edge, about 1/2" long, and some creases and edge wear to the top edge of the back panel. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Red-orange cloth covered boards, with the title in silver on the spine. Boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or worn. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Text pages are intact. Binding is tight and square. Not a remainder, not a library discard. The attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
