This handsome edition with illustrations in color and in black & white at chapter heads by Charles Raymond. With an introduction by John T. Winterich. Sandglass leaflet laid in (New York, no. III: 31). --- In full pale grey cloth-covered boards w/maroon decorations on covers & spine, gilt title oval on spine, and maroon topstain. Volume wrapped in maroon paper-covered slipcase. --- Overall, volume is in excellent shape: clean, unmarked and bright but with somewhat yellowed spine and with a bit of dulling to spine oval gilding. Slipcase with partial tear along one joint, otherwise intact.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; xiv, 279 pages .
