About This Item
Wild West Club, Collins, 1945. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. 160 pages (complete). A most pleasing copy of this first British edition. The titling on the front of the dustjacket and on the dj spine have the title as one word ("Hardcase"); the blurb and title page have it as two words ("Hard Case"). The dustjacket is dramatic and sure. It has some light wear about the edges and seams, some scuffing and rubbing. It is otherwise healthy. The boards are placid. They have some very mild shelving wear to the edges. The contents are agreeable even though they were printed according to wartime economic standards: clean, clear, comfortable, companionable, sound, very confident. fk.
