Sm 4to. 382 pp. Blue cloth with a silver emblem on front board and silver lettering on the spine (faded in this case). Fading to the spine and edges. The price-intact jacket with photo of black soldiers is spine-darkened and has a little chipping to the top of the spine. Inscribed at length on the half-title page: "This book is presented to Miss Barbara Boston - at the suggestion of Arthur W. Little, Jr. with the compliments of the author - Arthur Little (difficult to read). September 20, 1940.
