Columbia, MO: University of Missouri Press, 1984. Second printing. Softcover. An early collection of short stories from the author of "The Feast of Love" and "Shadow Play." A very good copy in wrappers with some minor wear, a small crease to the bottom front corner but internally a clean copy. Signed and warmly inscribed by Baxter on the title page in 1986.

Synopsis

Charles Baxter lives in Minneapolis and teaches at the University of Minnesota. He is the author of seven other works of fiction, including Believers , Harmony of the World , and Through the Safety Net . The Feast of Love was a finalist for the National Book Award.
