The third of 8 volumes (we hold the complete set) of this encyclopaedia prepared under the general editorship of Mr George Sandeman, M.A. assisted by numerous well-qualified sub-editors contributing 50,000 articles to the encyclopaedia which is profusely illustrated. The publishers' aims of accuracy, completeness, clearness and of providing guidance for students were well met in this treasure-house of knowledge which provides an interesting insight into early 20th century life and those matters of historical interest at that time. The set is in very good condition with some slight fading to the spines. This volume (like the others) contains 800 pages (6400 for the set) plus appendix of pronunciation.
