London: George Routledge, 1877. Knebworth edition, green covers with gilt on spine and upper board with blind-stamped rules on both boards, 505pp inc notes, plus 6pp adverts. Modest wear and bumping to cover extrems, more to head and foot of spine. Hinges cracked but holding well. Dusty page edges foxed, as are prelims. Quote on book care from Walter Scott on ffep, followed by plea not to read this copy near the fire, from a previous owner. That owner's name (dated 1878) also on ffep. Ref:104201. Knebworth Edition. Cloth. VG-/N/a. 13x19.5cm.
