New York: Atheneum, 1979. First edition. Hardcover. Very near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo. [9], 3-256 pp. Blue cloth with gold lettering on the front board and spine. Price of $8.95 on front flap of dust jacket. Orange endpapers and pastedowns. Illustrated with a map. The final book in McKillip's Riddlemaster trilogy. The first state jacket, lacking the "Argo" logo. This copy is bound upside down and backwards in its boards, but is complete. Jacket shows a faint crease to its rear panel.

Synopsis
