"Sorceror's" on page facing tp, "ancestor" last word on P.332. 1st state DJ with $17.95 price and raised author & title words. ISBN & 51795 on DJ rear panel. DJ extrems creased a bit but absolutely no chips or even the tiniest closed tear. Immaculate book & DJ, even the three text block edges are as white as new. Read with care, if at all, as book tends to stay closed when stood on its spine. COMES WITH a 2nd reading copy, in DJ, and is in same remarkable condition. It is a 3rd printing but still with no "2" on upper spine. Number line: 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 0/0 9/9 1 2 3 4. Later DJ with number "2" on upper spine. DJ p/c but otherwise flawless, not even the tiniest closed tear. The two books make a great set, one to be admired, the other to be read. .

Synopsis

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the second book in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The story follows Harry Potter, a young wizard attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as he and his friends Ron and Hermione investigate a series of attacks on students by a mysterious monster. Harry discovers the monster is actually a basilisk, a giant serpent that can kill with a single glance. With the help of his friends and new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Gilderoy Lockhart, Harry must enter the Chamber of Secrets to defeat the basilisk and save his schoolmates, including Ron's younger sister Ginny who has been taken hostage by the evil wizard, Tom Riddle.
