Two volumes in Fine minus condition, Quality Harvard University Press publication, Books are 11.75 inches in height by 9 inches in width, very comprehensive look at 16th Century Italian books, heavily illustrated with hundreds of plates, title pages and detailed information on hundreds of titles, total 840 pages with index and chronology. Vol 1: Aaron to Lusitano, 265 books. Volume 2: Maggi to Zuallart 293 books, 558 titles in total with detailed bibliographic information. Books are ultra clean rust brown cloth with black titles blocks to spines with gilt titles, just the very lightest sunning to spine else Fine, No previous owner bookplate or writing, Original slipcase present in at least Very Good Plus condition with one bruised corner else near Fine. Ultra clean and most presentable set in never read condition.
