About This Item
Van Antwerp Bragg and Co, 1880. hardcover. Acceptable. 0x0x0. Harvey's Language Course"; 160 p., with occasional faint stains; penciled name of former owner on front end page and penciled attempt to draw an elephant, with accompanying helpful label "Elephant" on facing paste-down; outline of plant leaf no longer in the volume, filled in with green pastel; illustrated with very nice engravings; gutters cracked with rear end page missing--front end page beginning to detach towards foot; binding nonetheless firm; sunned and stained brown boards are lightly bumped on corners but quite abraded at crown and foot of spine. Paper strong though age-toned and there are no interior pages missing--so this volume might really benefit from rebinding.
