Ms. Bazore, a chairperson of the Hoe Economics Department at the University of Hawaii, has done a wonderful job presenting Hawaiian and and Asian traditional cuisine, as well as providing recipes which were assembled for the average American home using "mainland ingredients" available at any local grocery store. Later printing of the 1940 classic, 290 pages, comprehensive cookbook with customs, recipes and techniques for major groups of Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. Octavo, 8 inches by 5.5 in width, spotless publisher's mustard cloth, bright black title to spine, NO previous owner bookplate or writing FINE. Beautiful original bright and colorful decorated dustjacket in new mylar. Fine book in a near Fine jacket.
