Price-clipped dust jacket is rubbed and toned at edges and spine. Some staining to front, 1 inch closed tear along top of front panel, and one small chip to rear panel and front fore edge. Boards are lightly edgeworn. Gutter at title starting, but binding is sound. Bookseller stamp and previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Additional ownership inscription to title page.
Overall a very good copy of the Hughes' first book of poetry, dedicated to Sylvia Plath.
