About This Item

Seattle: Frank McCaffrey Publishers, 1969. First Edition. Hardcover in dust jacket. Fine/Fine. 8vo. Pp. 238. Illustrated with b&w reproductions. Introduction by Nard Jones. Brown and green cloth binding with small illustration on front cover. A particularly desirable copy, Fine in Fine dust jacket and with a printed note from the author laid in. Broderick's lovingly collected reminscences about his city are a fair assessment of the history of early 20th C. Seattle. Plenty of pleasantly off-color anecdotes, mostly involving vice, depict a burgeoning city alive with growing pains. Bookseller inventory SMDS-YM-GH.
