Description:
1585 ENGLISH Calvinism Edmund Bunny Christian Exercise Bible Pacification LONDON

Edmund Bunny was a 16th-century English Calvinist who wrote numerous theological works – works on the history of Christianity, prayers and devotionals, the life of King David, and even an abridgement of John Calvin's "Institutions". One of his most widely read works was his "Booke of Christian Exercise" which was Bunny's notes and edits of Robert Parsons', a Jesuit, devotional. The final portion of that book was Bunny's "Treatise Tending to Pacification" – a short survey into peace which comes from Jesus Christ.
