London: Frederick Muller, 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine. Hardcover in shiny navy boards. No dust jacket. First printing of first edition. SIGNED by Arthur L. Kipling on a small plate tipped in on title page. Book is in Fine condition, crisp and clean, with tight binding and sharp corners. Illustrated throughout with black-and-white photos. Laid in are several color illustrations, clipped from magazines, next to the page of the appropriate head-dress. One such magazine page left some color behind on the edges of the front free endpage, the book's only flaw. 4to. 233 pp. including index. Heavy--five pounds to ship; will require additional postage for shipping priority or outside the U.S.
