Original illustrated stapled wrappers with map of Alaska on gilt background, lettering in black. All pages with illustration, borders are b/w drawing that are repeated in varying order and photographs. Light handling wear. No flaws to note. 8 by 5.5 inches; 20 by 13.6 cm. First Edition, First Printing. [24] pp. Illustrated from photographs.. A well-written promotion for Alaska prior to statehood. The theme being that you won't really know Alaska until you know the interior. Beginning with an overview of Fairbanks, and activities and lodgings for tourists including an overview of the Richardson Trail, The Alaskan Railroad, Air service, or travel by Steamboat. Of course, Mt. McKinley National Park is featured.
The campaign continues with lures of fishing and hunting. Then to the natural resources: Coal, Gold, Agriculture, Fur Farming. There is a page highlighting the "Farthest North Collage", Alaska Agricultural College and School of Mines.
