About This Item

Quite a fascinating record of John Wesley's life! John Wesley's Journal, edited by his own hand, offers a unique view into the life and ministry of one of the 18th century's great religious leaders and the reforms he helped to promote. Founder of Methodism. His 1st published entry is dated 10/14/1735 & his last is 10/24/1790. Augustine Birrell writes: "between those two Octobers there lies the most amazing record of human exertion ever penned or endured." This particular volume is an undated 512-page hardback; late 19th century with black & white 19 Illustrations. Not a reproduction and not a reprint! A comprehensive Index

Acceptable++. Very minimal writing or notations in margins not affecting the text.NOT ex-Library.NO highlighting! There is a name handwritten with the date, April 1908 plus an ExLibris. Frontispiece with tissue protector. The textured aqua covers have bright bold gilt lettering on front and spine. Cover shows wear and tear and rubbing. Spine is very good except for minor scuffing. Sadly, the binding is separated at front but back is still connected (repairable since all there). Each book is visually inspected. The pictures depict the actual book you will receive. Countries other than the USA will require additional shipping costs. Ships with Tracking Number!
