Bound in green cloth with black ink title to spine, and black ink title and pictorial of ciciadas to front board. Profusely illustrated with drawings, full page, as devices and in the text. Cloth rubbed at head and heel of spine, corners and bottom edge; a little rubbing to edges of spine and some very light scratches to cloth rear panel. Dust-jacket with some wear to corners and head and heel of spine; small creas and nicks to heel; spine a little dull; some fain dust soil to edges and a little front.
