In the scarce dustwrapper which is complete with a slightly darkened spine and virtually no wear. Close to Fine in a Fine dustwrapper. Original green cloth. Laurence A149b: published a week earlier in America. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on the half title page "To Henriette & Augustin Hamon/from Bernard Shaw./10th Oct. 1919." The Hamons were French socialists and the translators of Shaw's works into French.
