Illustrated dustjacket mildly edgeworn with short closed tears, bumped as boards, and production ink-scuff on spine. The story of Sefton Brancker, whose initiative and input was integral to the birth and rise of British Aviation from 1910.Born on 22 March, 1877, he died at Beauvais on 5 October, 1930, in the R.101 disaster.
