Harper & Brothers. New York. 1935. Beige cloth with author's signature on front board and charcoal brown lettering on spine with orange artistic motif. Two-color title page. Very good (stated) First Edition with M-I printer code on copyright page. Unclipped ($2.50) good jacket has stain on upper spine, small chips on jacket edges, 0.25 x1 in. hole on jacket back and crease on jacket front and back. Jacket protected with removable mylar cover. The forth novel by the 1928 Pulitzer Prize winning author tells the story of George Brush, a traveling salesperson who has a strong faith in God. Needless to say George will struggle in the unfeeling world he travels. Still, one must try. 304 pg.
