New York CIty: Henry Holt and Company, 1988. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo., 292pp. Sharp Stated First Edition, First Printing with full number sequence. The second Dave Robicheaux story. Bound in quarter black cloth over grey paper-covered boards with titles in silver on spine. Square and, tight with just a touch of rubbing to the heel. Page edges moderately toned. Equally attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($17.95), has some surface rubbing and toned flap edges. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, creases or tears. A very pretty collectable copy at a great price.
