This is the life story of Heinrich Heine who was a brilliant satirist and lyric poet in the early 1800s who gibed a generation into rebellion and made a whole world sing and weep. His life was one continuous storm of love, lust, wretchedness, strife, idealism, mendacity and sublime literary achievement. A clean presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
