Beautifully illustrated First Edition printed in 1945, 32 pages, Book is 9.5 inches in height by 7.5 inches in width, 26 beautiful color, black and white illustrations by Kurt Wise on 32 pages. Book is Fine, tan cloth with clean black titles to spine, very colorful illustration of native Alaskan with a Salmon in his net. Colorful map end papers showing Alaska in relationship to Canada and USSR, No previous owner bookplate or writing, very clean. Jacket is Very Good Plus and shows nicely in a new mylar sleeve, original $1.25 price intact, same beautiful full color illustration on front panel wrapping to rear panel, one 1 1/2 inch piece missing from top corner of rear panel else near Fine. Very colorful jacket and most presentable First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
