Binding has remained firm. Water marks to page edges and corners. Paper cover is moderately rub worn and thumbed with noticeable shelf wear to edges and corners, creases to corners and spine. Light tanning to spine and edges. Rust marks to cover spine and edges.

In quite good pictorial stapled card with red cloth spine. The covers are firm; fairly clean; quite worn, mostly on the edges.Age-toned cut edges. The text block is in good plus condition; tightly bound; well thumbed, with a few marks on page edges, otherwise quite clean. Dedication on title page. Small sticker or piece of paper with "Illustrated by Eileen Soper' stuck to title page. Issued without jacket.
