"A Text-book for Students Apprentices Artisans Engineers", sections on static and current electricity, batteries, measuring instruments, direct and alternating current machinery, transformers, converters, power stations, electric railways, telegraph, electric light, telephone, wireless telegraphy, electroplating, X-rays, radium, etc. Includes 150 black and white illustrations and two special wiring diagrams. 355 pp. with 1 pp. ads to rear of text. Dark blue cloth boards with gilt silver lettering, gilt engraved design to front board. Light bumps to all four corners with some light fraying. Light rubbing to extremities with some light fraying to spinecaps. Remainder spray to all edges. Light rubbing to rear board with 5 inch crease and two 1.5 inch creases, lines from creases show on rear pastedown. Light age-tanning to edges. Light soiling to endpapers, ad page, many pages of text. 0.5 inch closed tear to RFEP. Small corner folds to several pages.
