No-place: No-publisher, No-date. First edition thus, a personal assemblage of short stories mostly from "Everybody's Magazine." Thirteen in all: 11 by O. Henry and one each by Gilman ("Modern Masters of Music") and Gale ("The Return of Endymion"). O. Henry stories included are "The Sphinx Apple," "The Fifth Wheel," "The Halberdier of the Reinschloss," "The Fourth in Salvador," "Tobins Palm," "Phoebe," "The Caballero's Way," "A Night in New Arabia," "The Rose of Dixie," "Holding Up a Train," and "Hearts and Crosses." Unprinted small 4to orange paper boards; handwritten title page. Near fine.
