Indianapolis: Bobbs Merrill, 1904. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good. Octavo; pp; x, 167, (i); Illustrated by Howard Chandler Christy, decorations by Ralph Fletcher Seymour, a frontispiece and eleven inserted black and white plates; decorated blue cloth, with a device in white, & gilt lettering;. A novel dealing with Women's Suffrage. Whitlock was an intersting character. He worked with Altgeld, the reform Governor of Illinois and was elected Mayor of Toledo, also served as a diplomat.
