Hardback, spine and boards covered in colour printed paper, no dw, 15 coloured plates, single page b/w illustration showing heraldry on 8 coins, 36 pages of text. Pasted on front endpaper is a clipping telling about the heraldic use of the Mantequero or Manticore, a monster which had a lion's body and mane, a man's face bearded, wore a cap "turned up ermine" and fingers and toes instead of claws. Spine in good condition.
