Salt Lake City, UT: Deseret News Press, 1958. Second printing. Hardcover. Near fine. INSCRIBED. 116 pp. Octavo. [23 cm]. Red cloth over boards with title stamped in gilt on spine and front board. Inscription to front free end paper reads, "To _____ _____, My Logan friend, with best wishes, Dan Valentine!". Salt Lake's very own Mormon treacle romance poet. In the 1960s, one could not eat at any diner without seeing his titles on a twirling rack at the table. Sweeter than kitsch.
